To ensure students are competent to deal with the complex controlled airspace they will be flying in, the Academy recognises the importance of specialised Radio Telephony (RT) instruction. The RT instructors can provide ample availability for student training, and lessons can be repeated until the student is comfortable with the procedures. Lectures are done in a real-life one-on-one simulated environment to replicate the accurate situational experience.
Aviation English language experts assist with the Aviation English certification. If a student is not competent enough to pass the English test, additional training can be provided. This service is invaluable to foreign language students, who would not otherwise have such a facility available.
English Language Proviciency (ELP) tests can be done in-house on request, or otherwise at the TM-CAD facilities.
