Multi Crew Cooperation Courses now available in Malta

The new year brought exciting developments for Professional Aviation Training Academy – Malta, when it received approval for its Multi-Crew Course (MCC). The Academy is currently the only registered training facility in Malta to provide the EASA approved MCC as well as Flight Instructor Courses (FI + IRI). The MCC training is done on the company’s ALSIM ALX simulator and presented by experienced airline pilots. The aim of the Professional Aviation Training Academy Malta MCC course is to train students to the level of proficiency required to operate safely in a multi-pilot environment, and to provide students with tools to exercise good judgement and airmanship in their professional careers.Prior to the commencement of the MCC course, pilots must hold a PPL(A) or CPL (A) issued in accordance with ICAO Annex 1 and accompanied by a multi-engine instrument rating. Students may also commence MCC training if they have passed the relevant skill test, but are still awaiting the issue of their licence and/or instrument rating by the respective aviation authority.
The courses are delivered by experienced airline training captains, using the Academy’s state-of-the-art ALSIM ALX FNPTII simulator.
